DESCRIPTION:Focus: Sharing personal experiences of type\n\n\n\n\n\nInviting NSW/ACT members and guests to join us for a fun\, informative and interactive type afternoon online via Zoom video conferencing where we will explore personal experiences of type.  \n\n\n\nWe will discuss just what it is like having particular type preferences – How does it play out? How has your experience of your type evolved over time? What is it like to be your type? What are your strengths and less preferred areas? \n\n\n\nYou are encouraged to do some reflection and thinking about your personal experiences of your own type. Our previous online sessions have been interactive\, fun and informative. So join us for Talking About My Type from the comfort of your home! \n\n\n\nThe event will be facilitated by Terri Connellan. Further details including connection links and support for Zoom if it’s new to you will be provided once RSVP is received.  \n\n\n\nRSVPs essential by 4 June. SUMMARY:Personality Parts™ - New Perspectives on Type with Richard Owen
DESCRIPTION:Richard Owen from the UK presents a 2-hour introductory talk online for AusAPT members and guests who are already experienced and knowledgeable about type. The Personality Parts™ model is Richard’s work towards his conceptualisation and expansion of John Beebe’s 8 function/8 archetype model. It goes right back to the fundamental theory of Jung\, Beebe and MBTI\, challenging the way we have done things before and integrating broader psychological ideas\, towards new foundations that will take type forwards in its second 100 years. Be prepared to revisit some key questions: what is type? how does it come about? what is the unconscious mind? how does it affect my experience and relationships? \n\n\n\nRichard Owen\n\n\n\nAbout Richard Owen\n\n\n\nRichard Owen (INTJ) is a qualified Organisational Psychologist and Coach from Brighton\, UK. He is the current Treasurer and a Trustee of the BAPT (British Association for Psychological Type). Specialising in Jungian Type\, but having studied a range of trait and other models of personality\, Richard is interested in combining these different views and unifying them theoretically.
