Vale Margaret Ball

The Victorian Chapter of AusAPT wishes to express our condolences to Ian Ball on the recent passing of his wife Margaret. As members of AusAPT, we mostly encounter and enjoy each other’s company without knowing much of the greater part of each other’s lives – life and work history, significant events, family and partners. We know Ian as a Life Member of AusAPT, conference (more…)

As you may know, he has researched, written and presented on type for over 25 years. Moreover, Peter is keen to assist with knowledge and practice on type through the resources of the Collection and his extensive experience and expertise. You can read more about the Collection here. Changes to National Committee roles

Due to immediate work commitments and for personal reasons, Joshua Knight has reluctantly stepped down from his position of National President. Under the AusAPT Constitution, a casual vacancy is able to be filled by the National Committee. Our Vice President, Kerry Gubb, has been appointed President of AusAPT – to serve in that role until the elections to be held as a part of the AGM of AusAPT (later this year). The positions of President, Secretary and Treasurer are all open to nominations this year as two-year terms will have been completed by our Secretary and Treasurer also. We are (more…)
