AusAPT Conference Report – Sydney 25-26 October 2024

The Heart of Personality Type Beauty, of course, is always in the eye of the beholder. Here is what I beheld in Sydney this year as we came together to celebrate ‘The Heart of Personality Type.’ On Thursday afternoon the new AusAPT management committee met for the first time. It was largely an informal chat to reflect on where AusAPT is at right now. Changes to the AusAPT Management Committee

 After four energetic years as president of AusAPT, Terri Connellan has stepped down from that role. Terri has contributed greatly in the development of AusAPT’s social media strategy and presence and revamped our website. She has consolidated relationship with Kelly IT Consulting (our technical support company) and expanding our links with the global type community – especially with BAPT (the British APT) and Japan. Along with Phil Kerr, Terri led us through the Covid years by hosting three on-line conferences (2020 – 2022). Members of the Australian Association for Psychological Type Inc are invited to nominate for the following roles on AusAPT’s Management Committee. Office Bearers:      President      Vice-President      Treasurer      Secretary Regional Representatives:      New South Wales & ACT      Victoria & Tasmania      Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory       InternationalThe Management Committee is AusAPT’s governing body. Management Committee members serve in an honorary capacity for terms of two years, commencing from the annual general meeting on 25 September, 2024.If the number of nominations received exceeds the number of vacancies for office bearers, a ballot of members will be held. Changes to the AusAPT Management Committee in 2022

We wish to advise some changes to the AusAPT Management Committee over recent months. Kerry Gubb advised us in December 2021 that he would unfortunately no longer be continuing as Vice President, IT and Web Support Officer and Committee member into 2022. We wish to acknowledge the immense contribution of Kerry to AusAPT over many years, including as relieving President in 2020 and his IT and web support work. Kerry’s skill and expertise has been a key reason we could make the shift to virtual delivery and shape a responsive web presence. He has been a valued member of the (more…)

New International Regional Representative on the AusAPT Management Committee

We wish to advise that Harumi Gondo has joined us as the International Regional Representative on the AusAPT Management Committee. The vitality and future of AusAPT depends on the efforts of members including those who volunteer to be part of the Management Committee of AusAPT. AusAPT AGMThe vitality and future of AusAPT depends on the efforts of volunteers including those who volunteer to be part of the Management Committee of AusAPT. The Committee leads the not for profit organisation’s strategic directions, events and operations. At the November 2020 AGM, a new Management Committee was formed for the period 2020 – 2022. We didn’t fill all positions at that time and a couple of people have resigned since.
