Angelina Bennet, President, opens this issue discussing progress to date in the period of change that is currently being experienced by BAPT as we adapt to the electronic age. Sharon Richmond, the 2012 APTi President, later also shares with you the approach being taken by APT International as they respond to the same challenges.

Then comes the main item in this issue, namely the comprehensive report of the BAPT Conference, compiled by Nancy Silcox and others (see pages 5 to 18). This will give you a flavour of the sessions that took place which you will have missed if you were unable to attend this year. In addition, there is also a report of the Southern Group’s workshop on Psychological Type and Emotional Intelligence led by Bill Davies also held in March.

This issue starts with our usual column from Angelina Bennet (President) bringing you up-to-date with developments within BAPT. Then the next 3 articles relate to the BAPT Conference to be held from 7-9 March, with a programme prepared by Clare Howard (Conference Chair) and two articles from our keynote speakers, Danielle Poirier talking about "What If? Pondering the Role of Depth Psychology in our Modern World" and Gary Williams on "The Journey to Hogwarts, Oz and Wonderland: Embracing our own Monymyths".

The next BAPT Conference, 7-9 March in London, is taking shape and it is planned to produce a Conference Brochure to send out to you all shortly giving details of the sessions, the venue and price. I hope that you’ve already put the dates in your diaries and we shall see you there. Photos of the keynote speakers, Danielle Poirier from Canada plus Gary Williams and Katherine Hirsh from the US are featured on the front cover. 
The results of the TypeFace survey are outlined in this issue and we’re already taking action to respond to some of the suggestions. Commissioned reports were highlighted as important or very important by 85% of respondents and we have three featured in this issue.
